I was at the supermarket yesterday and decided to pick up a few things. One is a trusted old favourite, the Dove Summer Glow lotion, which is a great way of tanning lightly throughout the week without getting a dramatic effect. It smells ALOT better than Johnston’s Holiday Skin (which smells like digestives/playdoh!) and I think it gives a better colour and glow as well.
The next product is one that has been recommended by loads of people on their blogs and on you tube. It’s Revlon Colourstay makeup. I got it in True Beige as that was the nearest match to the foundation I use at the moment (Maxfactor Lasting Finish). I have been using the Maxfactor foundation for years as I have never been able to find another one that matches the staying power and coverage that it offers. I am going to test out the Revlon foundation this week and let you know how I get on!

The next three items are all lipsticks. I had heard alot about the Barry M Lip Paints so I decided to get no.100, the one that reminded me of MAC’s St Germain. It’s a lovely pale pink with a lilac tone to it. I think it will look great with a smokey eye so I will try that out soon. The next two lipsticks are both Rimmel. The first one is Lasting Finish Intense Wear in Nude Pink which is on the left hand side in the photo. This is a really nice colour and the lipstick has a really nice formulation. It’s supposed to last for 8 hours so I will be testing that out! The other Rimmel lipstick is part of their new range ‘Moisture Renew Bronze’ which has just been launched for summer. I got ‘Rose Bikini’ which is a gorgeous pinky/peachy coloured lipstick which is infused with gold flecks. It’s a really nice moisturising formula and will look briliant with a tan. I also noticed that when you put on GOSH Darling lipstick before applying this one, you get another gorgeous colour that is a bit more nude. Try it out!
